Dale has always known he wanted to turn his innate passion to elevate those around him and always be a positive influence for others into a career path. After graduating with a degree in management and a minor in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Dale joined the team of advisors at Trilogy Financial. Through coaching and education, he enjoys putting his clients’ interests at the center of his attention. Dale hopes to offer a helping hand in correcting the lack of education and understanding of personal finances that he sees as a prominent issue in the younger generation. By doing this, he is contributing to the larger cause of creating a generation that has the potential to change the world for the better. That being said, Dale is eager and excited to help those of all age ranges. He recognizes that the necessity and impact of financial planning, education and awareness is limited to no demographic boundaries.
In his spare time, Dale is always looking to try new things and to learn from his experiences. This is important because he believes if you aren’t growing, you are stagnant or regressing. Continuous progress is imperative if you want to live the life you dream of. This is the type of attitude Dale encourages his clients to take on in their financial life so they too can attain their own goals. Dale was born in Somerville, Massachusetts and grew up in the neighboring town of Arlington. He played football, lacrosse and rugby in his high school and collegiate days. These days he enjoys seeking adventure with friends and family by going to the beach, hiking mountains and exploring new cities. Dale hopes to instill the spirit of the following quote in every person he comes into contact with: “A man who asks is a fool for five minutes. A man who never asks is a fool for life.”
FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is trending as a new financial lifestyle. FIRE promotes extreme savings in your 20s, 30s and 40s, with the goal of being able to live off passive income from the accumulated nest egg much earlier than typical retirement age.
Preparation for retirement is extremely important, and it extends well beyond finances. That’s why you need to work on your retirement compatibility with your partner way before you stop working.
Retirement is the final chapter to solidify your life’s success. How that looks, though, is entirely up to you.
Financial Life Planning is about actually starting — taking a few good steps in the right direction and then taking a few more.
