Casey Dettorre’s initial exposure to the financial industry started at a young age. He received stock as birthday and Christmas gifts from his grandparents at a very young age, learning early about the importance of investing and how to be smart with money. Just a week after graduating with a degree in Business Finance from California State University, Fullerton, Casey joined Trilogy Financial. Since that day over ten years ago, he has consistently built strong relations with clients founded on his commitment to acting in their best interest and his concierge level of communication and follow-up.
The most satisfying part of Casey’s business is the positive impact he makes on the individuals and families he works with. Likewise, Casey admires those who are willing to work hard and positively affect the lives of those around him/her, which is why he also supports the Boys and Girls Club. Casey is an avid golfer because he values the necessary discipline and competitive drive needed in the sport. Those attributes are the same he uses in his own professional and personal life.
Casey currently holds his Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations with LPL Financial and Series 65 with Trilogy Capital Inc., as well as Life, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance License. He has been a part of Dave Ramsey’s SmartVestor Pro Program* for over ten years.
*The SmartVestor program is a directory of investment professionals. Neither Dave Ramsey nor SmartVestor are affiliates of Trilogy or LPL Financial.
Preparation for retirement is extremely important, and it extends well beyond finances. That’s why you need to work on your retirement compatibility with your partner way before you stop working.
When selecting a Financial Advisor, it’s important to know they will be looking out for you and the money you worked hard for all your life. Not all financial advisors are the same. When considering a financial advisor to partner with, it’s important to know if they are fiduciaries, meaning they will be ethically obligated to work in your best interests to help you reach your goals.
In addition to awareness, you need action. You need focused, decisive and immediate action to see change and to get yourself back on the road to financial independence.
FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is trending as a new financial lifestyle. FIRE promotes extreme savings in your 20s, 30s and 40s, with the goal of being able to live off passive income from the accumulated nest egg much earlier than typical retirement age.
Financial Life Planning is about actually starting — taking a few good steps in the right direction and then taking a few more.
