THOM MCELROY

Retired, Co-founder of Volcom; Trilogy Board Member

Tom McElroy is a southern California native and graduate of San Diego State University with a BA in Graphic Communication. Thom was an original investor and co-founder of Volcom, where he designed the iconic Volcom Stone logo. He served on the company's Board of Directors and was a key part of the company's strategic team. Thom also founded McElroy Communications, a full-service advertising agency. He serviced several Action Sports companies such as Quiksilver, O'Neill, and Vans. Thom also worked in video gaming, launching X Box and the Tony Hawk franchise. After the sale of McElroy Communications, Thom retired and has invested in several emerging brands and sits on the Board of Trilogy Financial, where he is helping develop a new brand strategic package. He sits on the TCF Board and is a guest lecturer in entrepreneurism at San Diego State University. He has also chaired the Alumni Engagement Committee, Athletics Committee, and Lavin School of Entrepreneurial Management. He gives back to his community by mentoring students at SDSU and Newport Harbor High School. Thom has never left his roots and still surfs every day in Huntington Beach.

Coach Joe Lukacs

Coach Joe Lukacs is one of the most experienced coaches for financial advisors, with over 30 years of experience and over 75,000 individual coaching sessions during that time, being named one of the industry's top troubleshooters in 2000 and 2009 by Registered Rep Magazine. Coach Joe has helped his clients raise over $50B in assets and has added over $500M in bottom-line profits spanning over 2,500 individual client engagements during his career. He founded Magellan Network and Mastermind™, an online coaching community of over 500 financial advisors. Coach Joe hosts The Magellan Network Podcast, where he delivers strategies, mindset strategies, mindset shifts, and no-nonsense advice from which all financial advisors can benefit. He resides in Melbourne, Florida, with his business and life partner, Marisa. They have 3 grown children, Kate, Michael, and Joseph, who are key to the family business.
