"I love what I do because I get to provide clarity to people's financial situations to help them make intelligent and sound decisions in order to reach their goals."
Mike is a native of North Dakota. Though he spent his academic years in the city of West Fargo, he spent most summers on his family farm in the heart of the Bakken oil patch, near Williston, ND. His experiences on the farm and in the oil field taught him many lessons, none more valuable than the importance of hard work and dedication. Mike knew he wanted to be in the business of helping people, he dedicates himself to coaching families to reach their goals and make better financial decisions together.
Mike is a 2016 graduate of the University of North Dakota, holding a Bachelors degree in Economics. While at university, he was involved in the first ever fully student-run private equity fund. Above all else, Mike will say the experience he values most from his time with the private equity fund is the real-world experience, “I learned to deal with REAL people’s money, investing in REAL companies as a college student, so in many ways I began my path to becoming a financial advisor during my time in college”.
Mike is an avid athlete and sportsman; golf, baseball, and hockey being his favorites. Most of his weekends are spent on the golf course trying to perfect an imperfect game. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Mike holds his Series 65 and Life Insurance licenses
