Matthew’s mantra of “helping people thrive, not just survive!” drives his success as a Financial Advisor. He believes the keys in being able to do so lie in the behaviors and decisions a person makes throughout their life. Since joining Trilogy in 2014, Matthew has used his knowledge to educate and guide his clients towards comprehensive financial strategies while keeping them focused as they work towards financial success.
In 2017 Matthew began to realize that families of the deaf community were significantly underserved in the financial industry. Focusing his energy towards solutions, he partnered with RISE Interpreting and California Baptist University to deliver ASL certified translation as well as other services that help his clients communicate, thus providing the critical component in helping them pursue financial success. Since then, he has been recognized for his work with the deaf community by being awarded with Investment News’ 2019 Diversity and Inclusion Award.*
A graduate of California Baptist University, Matthew is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds his Series 65 registration with Trilogy Capital, Inc. He also has his California Life, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance License. In his spare time, Matthew and his family explore the world around them by traveling, discovering new delectable foods, hiking in local areas, or boating on a lake.
*Individual awards recognize Financial Advisors or industry professionals who support Advisors and have been effective role models for their efforts to bring diversity and to create an inclusive culture in the Financial Advisor business.
FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is trending as a new financial lifestyle. FIRE promotes extreme savings in your 20s, 30s and 40s, with the goal of being able to live off passive income from the accumulated nest egg much earlier than typical retirement age.
Preparation for retirement is extremely important, and it extends well beyond finances. That’s why you need to work on your retirement compatibility with your partner way before you stop working.
Retirement is the final chapter to solidify your life’s success. How that looks, though, is entirely up to you.
