From the beginning of his career, Mark Nicolet committed himself to making an impact. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional with a passion for advising and coaching others, Mark gets to know his clients on an individual level to better understand their most important priorities and time frames. With his diligence, detail, and communication, Mark coaches his clients through their financial situations, making sure their actions match their priorities and the vision of what they want.
Through an intentional planning process, Mark addresses proper cash flow, investment, risk management, and legacy planning. As a wealth advisor, Mark works in a fiduciary capacity for his clients. Mark has his Series 65 registration with Trilogy Capital, Inc., as well as his life and health insurance license.
Mark is also a qualified Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro* for investing and financial planning. He believes that eliminating debt and investing for the long term is the ideal way to build wealth and prepare for retirement. Mark practices a client-first mentality for investing and financial planning and is committed to educating and empowering his clients to make smart decisions about college savings, retirement, investment goals, and their overall financial future.
Growing up in the Midwest, Mark attended Hillsdale College in Michigan, earned his degree in Financial Management, and was an All-American quarterback and captain for the football team. After several seasons playing in Europe and the arena league, Mark returned to coach for a season at his alma mater. Mark then earned his MBA from Drake University, followed by obtaining his CFP® designation.
Mark and his wife, Meg live in Lakewood and Meg currently works as Manager of Provider Relations at St. Anthony Hospital. Mark and Meg have two sons, Drew and James, have climbed to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in 2011, ran the NYC marathon in 2014, and enjoy all things Colorado. Mark recently completed his first Ironman Triathlon in Boulder, CO and hosts a Father-Son breakfast for local Lakewood families.
