Since establishing his financial advisory career with Trilogy Financial in 2004, David has built a successful practice by way of a simple approach to planning: be honest, upfront, and always follow through. With a background in financial analysis, he evaluates problems at a detailed level while always considering the big picture and keeping long-term focuses at the forefront. He also believes the key to creating long-lasting, trusting partnerships with his clients and their loved ones is to start at the beginning. With every new relationship, he spends time learning about his clients, not only the data components, but also their background, personal and financial goals and what makes them tick. David’s professional focus is about making a significant difference in the lives of clients and friends.
In his practice today, David spends most of his time working with pre-retirees and retirees, providing them with objective and personalized advice. As they arrive at this junction in their lives, they are managing distribution planning, taxes, and other unforeseen expenses. David’s thorough planning process has proven to be a tremendous asset to his clients as it seeks to help ease their financial worries during retirement and helps leave a lasting legacy when their journey is complete.
David is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds his Series 65 registration with Trilogy Capital, Inc, his Series 6, 7 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial, and has his Life Insurance License. He is also an Orange County native and a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange. He devotes his free time to soaking up every moment with wife and daughters, but also when time permits, enjoys Angels baseball and golfing.
FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is trending as a new financial lifestyle. FIRE promotes extreme savings in your 20s, 30s and 40s, with the goal of being able to live off passive income from the accumulated nest egg much earlier than typical retirement age.
Preparation for retirement is extremely important, and it extends well beyond finances. That’s why you need to work on your retirement compatibility with your partner way before you stop working.
Retirement is the final chapter to solidify your life’s success. How that looks, though, is entirely up to you.
