Daniel’s personal mission is clear: to empower his clients to pursue their financial goals, whatever they may be. This means going beyond just managing his clients’ investments or providing financial advice. Daniel is committed to educating his clients and working with them to understand their individual financial situations and come up with strategies to meet their long and short term financial goals. In turn, Daniel’s clients develop the confidence to make informed financial decisions not just today, but throughout their lifetime.
Daniel is a second generation American and a first generation college graduate. Born and raised in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, he moved down to San Diego to attend the University of California San Diego where he studied Business, Finance and Marketing. While at UCSD, Daniel had the opportunity to live in Singapore for half a year to further his studies on Global Business and Entrepreneurism. After graduating with a degree in International Business, Daniel joined the team at Trilogy Financial, where he attained the FINRA Series 65 registration as well as the California Life, Disability, and Long Term Care Insurance License.
Daniel’s passion for the finance industry stemmed from an early age when he watched his family work extremely hard yet constantly struggle to keep up financially. He committed to study and learn the ins and outs of the American financial system, and along the way, discovered his fulfillment from helping others pursue their financial stability.
In his free time, Daniel likes to stay active. You can catch him playing pick-up basketball at the local gym or park, hanging out at the beach, or hiking. Daniel is a huge sports fan and enjoys the chance to go to Lakers, Dodgers and Vikings games. Daniel also volunteers his time with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a cause that he cares deeply for.
Preparation for retirement is extremely important, and it extends well beyond finances. That’s why you need to work on your retirement compatibility with your partner way before you stop working.
When selecting a Financial Advisor, it’s important to know they will be looking out for you and the money you worked hard for all your life. Not all financial advisors are the same. When considering a financial advisor to partner with, it’s important to know if they are fiduciaries, meaning they will be ethically obligated to work in your best interests to help you reach your goals.
In addition to awareness, you need action. You need focused, decisive and immediate action to see change and to get yourself back on the road to financial independence.
FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is trending as a new financial lifestyle. FIRE promotes extreme savings in your 20s, 30s and 40s, with the goal of being able to live off passive income from the accumulated nest egg much earlier than typical retirement age.
