
Windus Fernandez Brinkkord, graduated from the University of San Diego in December 2002 with a BA in International Relations and a minor in Peace and Justice Conflict Resolution of the Asian Region. She started her career in the financial services industry with Trilogy in March of 2003. She is the chair of the Women’s Club in the San Diego Region and was the co-founder of the Club itself for all of Trilogy. She was awarded Trilogy’s Woman of the Year for 2008 and this past year, Windus’ performance landed her in the “Bakers Dozen”, Trilogy’s most elite group of top advisors. She holds the series 6, 7, 63, 65, Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with National Planning Corporation along with California Life licensed.
Windus is committed in helping her clients attain the wealth they need to reach their desired goals; give people the guidance they need to stay focused to do so; the support they need to persevere when they are least likely to do so, knowing that this will help them succeed.
Windus is a third generation Californian and a second generation San Diegan. She was raised in the community of Ocean Beach which attributed to her love of the water. Today she still loves to Surf, and enjoys snorkeling and hiking. She is a supporter of the California State Parks System, is a Formula One racing fan and loves to travel to exotic places with her husband, Kurt. They were married in Fiji in 2004, and have since been to Peru to hike Machu Pichu and surf Costa Rica and Belize. Kurt & Windus reside in Encinitas, California with their much loved dog Akio; who is a Shiba Inu that the rescued. Windus is a member of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE;, as well as a member of Imerman Angels (www.imermanangels.com). Imerman Angels is a non-profit group that works to pair cancer fighters with survivors and the families for support in persevering through their diagnosis. Windus’ husband Kurt is a two year kidney cancer survivor. Kurt and Windus also feel very strongly in supporting research to find a cure for cancer and make a point to donate to several cancer related charities a year. Windus walked the “3 Day Breast Cancer” walk in November of 2006.
