
It was in 2001 that Tom joined the Trilogy Financial team in Denver, Colorado. He quickly found himself in a management role early in 2004 where he lead and mentored a group of advisors in the Denver office. When Tom speaks of leadership he always uses the term “lead by example” and this can be seen through his work with his own clients. It was in mid 2009 that Tom made the decision to open the first east coast office for Trilogy Financial. He is now a Regional Vice President and responsible for building a team in the Boston area.
A commitment to thinking holistically and creatively so that Tom can help his clients work towards their financial goals is what sets him apart. He is attracted to the energy of those who shape our world and future such as business owners and entrepreneurs. Tom Elkins is dedicated to helping clients achieve financial success through values-driven investment plans. Mr. Elkins is a former educator and thrives in his role as a financial mentor. He has provided national radio commentary focusing on repairing corporate retirement plans, educating small business owners and guiding individuals and families through all stages of their financial lives.
Tom is a Registered Principal (Series 24) and an Investment Advisor Representative (series 66) with National Planning Corporation (NPC). He also holds his series 7, 63, long term care, life and health insurance licenses. A graduate from the City University of New York, Tom received his Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis on Math & Science. Tom can also be found consistently among Trilogy Financial’s Bakers Dozen which is recognition bestowed to the Elite of the company. He is also a member of the advisory board for HIPER-Q, a hospital services company.
Currently Tom lives in Lexington, Massachusetts with his wife and their daughter, but also spends part of his time in Denver. Tom enjoys telemark skiing, climbing, woodworking and is very active in several adult hockey leagues. The highlight of Tom’s day is the time he spends reading with his daughter.
