Nick D. Richtsmeier, Regional Vice President, Trilogy Financial Services

Financially and personally, it's very difficult for someone to know what they need until they know what they want. Through an in-depth process of discovery and research, Nick has built a successful planning practice and a skilled team of advisors by helping people know what they want to achieve and then developing the ideal strategy to get there. His unique approach to taking clients' goals and translating them into strategy through best-in-class service and creative, independently-minded problem-solving has been the secret to his success.

As the Regional Vice President for Trilogy Financial Services' Denver office, Nick's commitment to goal-driven action transfers to the management of his team of representatives and advisors. Helping individuals develop incontestable skills and breadth of knowledge is foundational to ensuring that Nick and his team can help anyone take the next step in their financial journey.

Nick's financial planning practice is focused on two distinct groups. First, he helps early to mid-career professionals to balance their diverse goals including future retirement, business development, college planning and caring for aging parents. Secondly, he helps individuals and families within 10 years before or after their retirement to maximize their opportunities for financial independence. Whether someone is considering a partial retirement, a transition out of professional life, or just need the confidence to know that their savings could support all of their worthy endeavors, helping people go beyond investment selection to successful goal planning is the heart of Nick's work.

Outside of Trilogy, Nick's focus is his wife, Wendy, and two sons: Evan and Grant. Nick and Wendy met in Chicago while he was completing his Masters degree in Transformational Leadership from Bethel University. They enjoy taking on projects together, relaxing in the mountain air and living the adventure of parenting young boys. Seeing his sons take steps day-by-day toward their full potential is a tangible reminder of Nick's life's work: helping people know their unique vision and then have the holistic strategy and boundless commitment to get there.
