Jeffrey Hackbarth, Vice President of Investments

Success can only be achieved by a strong work ethic and a commitment to work. Jeffrey learned both of these characteristics at a very early age from the family business, Del Taco which his grandfather founded. Since he was 6 years old, his father would take him to work and he would learn firsthand the value of a dollar, literally, his hourly wage.

Jeffrey joined Trilogy Financial Services in March of 2008, yearning for the opportunity to make a difference in the world, one person at a time. He attributes his passion and desire to help people to the family business. He was trained by his grandfather about what customer service really means. His grandfather still works in the Del Taco stores and delivers food to the dining patrons. His superior client service skills were then honed from his association with prestigious companies such as Patina Restaurant Group, and Marriott Hotels and Resorts where Jeffrey was an integral part of the management team.

As a testament to Jeffrey's work ethic, he was quickly promoted to be the first Vice President of Investments in West Covina in December of 2010. He attributes his rapid promotion to “always putting the client first,” just as he did when he worked for the family, Marriott and at Target.

Jeffrey serves on the Board of Directors for the Upland National Little League. Additionally he is an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce in Ontario and Vice President of Team Referral Network.

In 1997, he earned his B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds the Series 7, 63, 65, Life and Long Term Care insurance licenses.

Jeffrey lives in Upland with his wife Valerie and three sons, Jeffrey, Jacob, and Joshua. He coaches their baseball teams and the family looks forward to their summer tent camping trips in the Big Sur and Doheny Beach campgrounds.
